This was a good next step for us, representing a longer day with more distance and vertical rise than the Breithorn. Highlights included incredible views a couple hours in from our alpine start and a challenging descent on a 60-degree or so slope on nice, firm snow. Back to the Tasch hut after about 12 hours of action for a good dinner and some rest. Next in this series: Dom Hut hike
