Breithorn Climb (4159 m)

Early tram out of Zermatt up to Klein Matterhorn terminus, traverse to the base of Breithorn to the start of the climb. Fine weather, with a little wind around the top. Quite a few climbers but not crowded. This is a great acclimatization climb, and can be expended to include more of the ridge. But this time we were out for a good altitude adaptation run, and the climb went in good time and smoothly. Back at the terminus in mid-afternoon for some hot drinks and snacks. Next in this series: Alphubel climb
