Discovered that today was the annual West Point climbfest day — so Jim and I joined up and climbed as team  “Best Swiss” or something like that — much warmer than yesterday, and great day. Saw Doug and Marek there — looking good!

Short walk in Minnewaska on perfect day with great Fall colors with family, followed by fun lunch at the Mountain Brauhaus! Memorable finds(s): after burying the corpse of the caterpillar in fine ceremony,  three very nice pebbles in the lake.
